Justice for Unpaid Workers!

THIS IS AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR LEGAL SERVICES

Posted with permission.

The Law Offices of Peter D. Isakoff is very proud to have successfully resolved a case involving our clients' claims for unpaid wages. Peter recently represented three women who worked as seamstresses at a textile factory in the Triad area. They were unpaid for dozens of hours they worked, and faced working conditions where their paychecks bounced on several occasions, they were sometimes paid below minimum wage, and one was let go after using her earned paid time off to take care of her sick minor child.

Peter worked in conjunction with La Siembra, a Quaker non-profit organization advocating for Latino workers' rights, to fight for justice for his clients. Our maxim is simple: every person has a right to be paid fairly for an honest day's work.

If you are facing a salary dispute with your employer, The Law Offices of Peter D. Isakoff can help! Fortunately, there are a number of strong and well-established federal and state laws protecting workers, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FLMA), and the NC Wage and Hour Act. But navigating all these state and federal laws can be a complex task, and having trusted and experienced legal counsel can help immensely in asserting your rights.

Feel free to contact The Law Offices of Peter D. Isakoff at 757-478-3144 or peter@isakofflawoffices.com if you would like to discuss any employee/employer issue. We are here to help!
