Peter Secures Trial Win for Unpaid Latino Workers

THIS IS AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR LEGAL SERVICES

The Law Offices of Peter D. Isakoff recently secured a trial victory for clients Luis and Jesus. Luis and Jesus are brothers who work in construction, and were unpaid on a large bill for construction work they performed. The amount owed to them would have been a large chunk of their yearly business revenue. The opposing party had already been paid for the construction project, but pocketed the money it was supposed to use to pay Luis and Jesus.

This is unfortunately an all-to-common occurrence in the construction industry. Our law firm works closely on these types of cases with La Siembra (https://www.siembranc.org/), a Quaker-based non-profit that advocates for Latino workers' rights. The Law Offices of Peter D. Isakoff handles many cases involving business disputes for Latino-owned businesses, especially in the construction industry. Attorney Isakoff speaks Spanish and will fight hard for his clients, especially those who may be inappropriately taken advantage of in the workplace.

Construction law is a complex area of law, with tight deadlines and strict statutory rules. If anyone needs the services of a Spanish-speaking business and real estate trial lawyer who works in construction law, please feel free to reach out at peter@isakofflawoffices.com or 757-478-3144.
